Idea

If the price runs to a new low but the RSI no longer does, the sell-off is losing momentum; mirrored at the top. The divergence compares two consecutive lows or highs of the RSI, 5 to 60 candles apart, and reports as soon as the second one is confirmed: 5 candles later, never in hindsight.

Adapting it

• With the type “Hidden” the divergence reports pullbacks within the trend instead of possible reversals.
• Any oscillator works instead of the RSI, such as MACD or MFI.
• 3 candles after instead of 5 report sooner, but also for smaller lows.

In the test

Replay with the sample prices up to October 17, 2026: 25 alerts in 90 days. With live prices the number differs. With Free the replay covers 15 days, with Pro and during the trial 90 days.
