This is how the node looks on the board: inputs on the left, outputs on the right.

Yesterday’s high, low and close. Gives the open, high, low and close of the previous day, week or month and the middle between high and low. Many traders mark these levels every day: yesterday’s high is often resistance, its low support, and a breakout above counts as a sign of strength. Example: “Price crosses above previous day high” reports when BTC rises above yesterday’s high.

  • price crosses above previous day high
Four days of BTC/USDT with the high, low and close of the previous day in UTC. The values hold all day, which is 2:00 AM to 2:00 AM in Berlin. At the dots the price rises above yesterday’s high.

The settings appear on the right under “Properties” once you click the node on the board. Below each field you find the same explanation as here.

Default: previous day

Which period the values come from.

  • previous day (default): The values of the previous day. They hold all day and are renewed at midnight.
  • previous week: The values of the last calendar week, Monday to Sunday. They hold all week.
  • previous month: The values of the last calendar month. They hold all month.

Default: UTC · IANA time zone such as Europe/Berlin, at most 64 characters · under “More”

The time zone in which the day, week and month begin. The default is UTC, like the exchanges’ daily candles; in Berlin that is 1:00 AM in winter and 2:00 AM in summer. With Europe/Berlin the day begins at midnight German time.

Notifies you when the price rises above yesterday’s high.

First open, highest high, lowest low and last close of the candles of the previous calendar period in the chosen time zone, middle (high + low) / 2. In UTC these are the values of the exchange’s daily candle from yesterday. A period that began before the first loaded candle does not count.
