Price enters 58,000–60,000
- true/false
Value enters or leaves a zone. Checks on every candle whether a value lies between two limits and passes on true or false. That is how you build alerts for zones: a buy zone for the price, a neutral range for the RSI. The limits are fixed numbers or come from other nodes when you connect the Low and High inputs, such as VAL and VAH of yesterday’s value area. Example: price enters the range 58,000 to 60,000 notifies you once when the price falls or rises into your buy zone.
What it looks like
Section titled “What it looks like”- Price (close of each candle)
- Range
- true as long as
- true on exactly one candle
Setting it in the chart
Section titled “Setting it in the chart”
In the properties, a chart shows the last 150 candles with the zone between Low and High. Drag a limit or type the numbers; a limit that comes from another node can’t be dragged. The top line shows how many candles lie inside the range and how often the condition would be met.
More under Chart above the price.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”The settings appear on the right under “Properties” once you click the node on the board. Below each field you find the same explanation as here.
Condition
Section titled “Condition”When the node is true: while the value is inside or outside, or only at the moment it changes.
- is inside: True while the value is between Low and High, both limits included.
- is outside: True while the value is below Low or above High.
- enters (default): Only true on the candle where the value moves into the range from outside. Good for buy zones.
- exits: Only true on the candle where the value leaves the range, in either direction. Good for breakouts from a sideways phase.
Lower limit in the unit of the input, such as 58000 for a price or 40 for the RSI. If the Low input is connected, its value applies.
Upper limit, such as 60000 for a price or 60 for the RSI. If the High input is connected, its value applies.
Example
Section titled “Example”A buy zone: Telegram notifies you when the BTC price comes into the range from 58,000 to 60,000, from above or below.
How to connect the nodes:
- Candle (Price) → Range (Value)
- Range (true/false) → Telegram (Trigger)
On the board it reads: Price enters 58,000–60,000

Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Warm-up with the default settings: 1 candles (this many extra candles are loaded by the replay before the value is reliable).
- Search also finds it under: zone, range, between, buy zone, band, sideways, value area.
Technical details
Section titled “Technical details”Inside means Low ≤ value ≤ High; Low and High are swapped if needed. Connected Low and High inputs replace the numbers, candle by candle. Enters and exits compare with the candle before and need a value and both limits on both candles.
