Change %

Indicators core.change Version 1.0.0

Change versus N candles ago. Percentage change versus the value N candles ago, like ta.roc. With 1h candles, N = 4 means four hours.

Inputs and outputs

Only matching types connect: number series to number series (round pin), signal to signal (square), message to message (diamond).

Settings

The settings appear on the right under “Properties” once the node is selected on the board. Those marked “More” appear after clicking “More”.

Example

On the board it reads: over 4 candles

Good to know

• In messages the value is called “change 4”.
• Warm-up with the default settings: 4 candles (this many extra candles are loaded by the replay before the value is reliable).
• Search also finds it under: percent, pump, dump, crash, change.
