Aroon
- High
- Low
14 candles
- Aroon Up
- Aroon Down
- Oscillator
How recent the last high and low are. Measures how long ago the highest high and the lowest low of the last candles were. Aroon Up is 100 when the current candle has the high and falls with every candle without a new high down to 0; Aroon Down likewise with the low. With Up above 70 and Down below 30 a fresh uptrend is running. Example: “Aroon Up crosses above Aroon Down” reports when new highs are fresher than new lows again.
