BTC RSI below 30 on 15-minute candles, but not within 30 minutes before and after important economic events.

Idea

Around important events prices swing both ways, and signals are often just noise. “around the event” is true from 30 minutes before to 30 minutes after every economic event rated “important” or higher; NOT flips that, AND lets the RSI alert through only outside that time. You can put the filter in front of any signal of your own.

Adapting it

• With “very important only” under “Importance” the chain stays quiet only around CPI, the Fed and the jobs report.
• Instead of the RSI any signal fits the second input of AND.

In the test

Replay with the sample prices up to October 17, 2026: 62 alerts in 90 days. With live prices the number differs. With Free the replay covers 15 days, with Pro and during the trial 90 days.

With TP +2% and SL −1% (long), 21 of 62 signals would have hit TP, 40 SL, 1 stayed open. Sum after fees: −9.5%, with $100 per signal −$9.50. How this is calculated is explained under Take-profit and stop-loss. A look back, not a forecast and not investment advice.
