Slack
With the Slack node, alerts go to a channel in your Slack workspace, for example for your trading team. Slack comes with the Community plan; every Slack channel counts against the plan’s 20 targets, like Telegram groups and Discord.
Create the webhook
Section titled “Create the webhook”-
Open api.slack.com/apps, click Create New App, then From scratch, enter a name such as “Bellchain” and pick your workspace.
-
On the left under Incoming Webhooks, turn on Activate Incoming Webhooks.
-
Click Add New Webhook to Workspace at the bottom, pick the channel and confirm.
-
Copy the Webhook URL; it starts with
https://hooks.slack.com/services/. -
Drag the Slack node onto the board in the editor and paste the URL.
Set the sender’s name and picture in the Slack app under Basic Information. Some workspaces only allow new apps after an admin approves them.
What the alert looks like
Section titled “What the alert looks like”Like in Telegram: the chain’s name in bold at the top, your message as a quote below it, the values when it fired, and small at the bottom pair, timeframe and time. **bold**, _italic_ and `code` from your message also work in Slack. Mentions such as @channel ping nobody, and links get no preview.
If several coins of a scanner fire at the same candle, one message lists them all: the number of coins at the top, one line per coin with its values below.
The webhook URL is a secret: anyone who knows it can post to the channel. That is why it stays empty when you export the chain. Slack allows about one message per second per webhook; Bellchain waits for anything beyond that. If someone deletes the webhook or archives the channel, the history shows the reason, and the action needs a new URL.
