This is how the node looks on the board: inputs on the left, outputs on the right.

Retracements of the last swing. Places the Fibonacci levels 23.6 %, 38.2 %, 50 %, 61.8 % and 78.6 % between the start and end of the last move from a swing low to a swing high or the other way round. 0 % is at the end of the move, 100 % at its start. The levels only change once a new swing is confirmed, as with the Swing points node. The “near” output reports when a candle comes within ±x % of a chosen level. Example: “Price crosses below Fib 61.8 %” reports when a pullback after a rise reaches the 61.8 % level; “near 61.8 % ±0.3 %” already when it gets within 0.3 %.

BTC/USDT with the Fibonacci levels of the last swing, swings 10 · 10. After a rise the levels sit below the high and mark how far a pullback reaches; after a decline they sit above the low. They only jump when a new swing is confirmed, 10 candles after the high or low. At the dots the price falls below the 61.8 % level during a rising swing, as in the example below.

Properties of the Fibonacci levels node: the chart with the last 150 candles and the levels, their names on the right, the chosen level highlighted with the band ±0.3 % and dots at the candles near it, below it the Level and Band ± fields.

In the properties, a chart shows the levels over the last 150 candles, with their names on the right. Click a level or its name, or pick it with the arrow keys: the band ±x % for the “near” output lies around it. Drag an edge of the band or type the number under “Band ±”; dots mark the candles that came that close to the level. Levels far from the price sit at the edge with an arrow.

The settings appear on the right under “Properties” once you click the node on the board. Below each field you find the same explanation as here.

Default: 10 · from 1 to 100, whole number

How many candles before a high must all be lower, before a low higher. With more candles only clearer turning points count.

Default: 10 · from 1 to 100, whole number

How many candles after a high must not rise above it before it counts as a swing. The node reports it that many candles later; with fewer candles the report comes sooner, but also for smaller turning points.

Default: 61.8 %

Which level the “near” output refers to. In the chart above you can also pick it by clicking its line.

  • 0 %: The end of the swing, the last confirmed swing high or low.
  • 23.6 %: A shallow pullback, typical in a strong trend.
  • 38.2 %: A common pullback after which many trends continue.
  • 50 %: The middle of the swing.
  • 61.8 % (default): The golden ratio, the most watched level.
  • 78.6 %: A deep pullback close to the start of the swing.
  • 100 %: The start of the swing, the swing low or high before it.

Default: 0.3 % · from 0 to 10 %

How close a candle must come to the level, in percent of the level: “near” is true as soon as the candle’s high or low reaches into the band. 0.3 means 0.3 % above and below, so with a level of $80,000 that is $240. With 0 only a candle that touches the level itself counts.

A deep pullback: after a rise the price falls below the 61.8 % level of the last swing.

How to connect the nodes:

  1. Candle (High) → Fibonacci levels (High)
  2. Candle (Low) → Fibonacci levels (Low)
  3. Candle (Price) → Compare A/B (A)
  4. Fibonacci levels (61.8 %) → Compare A/B (B)
  5. Compare A/B (true/false) → AND (Signal 1)
  6. Fibonacci levels (up) → AND (Signal 2)
  7. AND (all true) → Telegram (Trigger)

On the board it reads: 10 candles before · 10 after

Swing from the last two points of a zigzag line through the confirmed swing highs and lows of the last 500 candles, swings as in the Swing points node; if two highs follow without a low in between, the higher one counts, for lows the lower one. Level = end − ratio × (end − start). “near”: low ≤ level × (1 + x / 100) and high ≥ level × (1 − x / 100).
