  • Line
This is how the node looks on the board: inputs on the left, outputs on the right.

Line through two points on the chart. A straight line through two points you draw on the chart, such as two highs. From the first point it continues to the right, past the last candle too. With a Compare A/B the chain alerts you when the price crosses the line. Example: “Price crosses above trend line” reports the breakout above a falling line.

  • Price crosses above Trend line
BTC/USDT on 1-hour candles with a trend line through two highs. It starts at the first point and continues to the right; at the dot the price closes above it for the first time, and “Price crosses above Trend line” reports the breakout there.

Properties of the Trend line node: the chart with the price of the last 150 candles and the falling line through two highs, at the top the distance of the price to the line in percent, at the bottom right the Enlarge button, below it the Point 1: time and Point 1: value fields.

In the properties, a chart shows the last 150 candles with the trend line and its points; the top line shows how far the price at the last candle is above or below the line. You draw and drag it on the chart: “Enlarge” opens it, and a trend line without points is drawn there with “Draw the line on the chart”. You can also type time and value of the points in the fields.

The settings appear on the right under “Properties” once you click the node on the board. Below each field you find the same explanation as here.

Where the line starts: the candle of the first point, in your time zone. On the chart you set the point with a click and drag it with the mouse or your finger.

Default: 0

The value at the first point, usually a price like 84,120. If the point sits on a high, take the price of the high.

Default: empty · point in time, shown in your time zone in the editor, stored in UTC, must be filled in before activating

The candle of the second point. The line runs through both points and then on to the right.

Default: 0

The value at the second point. Higher than the first means a rising line, lower means a falling one.

A breakout: the trend line falls through two highs, Telegram notifies you as soon as the price rises above it. You draw it on the chart with two clicks.
