Order blocks that switch sides. A breaker is an order block that did not hold: when the price closes above a bearish order block, the zone that pushed it down before becomes support. Many traders expect buyers when the price returns there. The node reports new breakers, the return into the zone, a close inside it and the break, and gives the nearest zone. A touch only counts as a return after the price has left the zone once; the candles right after the breakthrough do not count. Example: bullish with untouched only reports the first test of a zone BTC broke up through before.

Setting it in the chart
Section titled “Setting it in the chart”
In the properties, a chart shows the last 150 candles and on top of them what the node finds with your settings; dotted or dashed is what it did not know yet at that time. Drag the ends of the bracket at the latest swing to change “Candles before” and “Candles after”; at its right end the swing is confirmed. The top line shows the state at the last candle, and the chart follows every setting right away.

Settings
Section titled “Settings”The settings appear on the right under “Properties” once you click the node on the board. Below each field you find the same explanation as here.
Direction
Section titled “Direction”Which breakers the node looks for: support below the price or resistance above it.
- bullish (support) (default): Breakers from bearish order blocks the price has closed above: the zone that pushed it down before now lies below it. When it comes back, many expect buyers there.
- bearish (resistance): Breakers from bullish order blocks the price has closed below: the zone that carried it before now lies above it. When it comes back, many expect sellers there.
Which count
Section titled “Which count”Whether a breaker keeps counting after the first return.
- untouched only (default): A breaker counts until the first return into the zone after the price has left it. This way only the first test reports.
- mitigated too: A breaker keeps counting after returns until a candle closes beyond it. Every new return reports.
Candles before
Section titled “Candles before”How many candles before a high must all be lower, before a low higher. With more candles only clearer turning points count.
Candles after
Section titled “Candles after”How many candles after a high must not rise above it before it counts as a swing. Only then does it count here, that many candles later; with fewer candles it counts sooner, but smaller turning points count too.
Example
Section titled “Example”Notifies you of the first return into a zone BTC broke up through before: the former resistance is tested as support.
How to connect the nodes:
- Candle (Price) → Breaker blocks (Price)
- Candle (High) → Breaker blocks (High)
- Candle (Low) → Breaker blocks (Low)
- Breaker blocks (Price reaches breaker) → Telegram (Trigger)
On the board it reads: bullish · untouched only · 10 · 10

- Warm-up with the default settings: 1,520 candles (this many extra candles are loaded by the replay before the value is reliable).

Technical details
Section titled “Technical details”Order blocks as in the Order blocks node, counted until their break. Bullish breaker: a bearish order block whose high a candle closes above; known from that candle, zone from the order block’s low to its high. It counts from the candle after, until a candle closes below its low, at most 500 candles; “reaches” means a low at or below its high, reported when the candle before did not reach it (if the break candle already reaches into it, it counts as reached). With “untouched only” it counts until the first “reaches”. Bearish mirrored.
